Nicole's Note: Aug 30th
It was great to see so many of our families at our Back to School Picnic. I hope that you enjoyed getting to catch up with returning families and make some new friends.
Thank you also to the many families who came to our annual Canyon Clean-up Day to help beautify our campus for the new school year. It is always such a treat to see so many parents and students taking ownership of OUR school, and doing their part to make sure it is as safe and as gorgeous as possible.
We will be holding Back to School Night on Thursday, September 3rd from 6:00 – 7:45 p.m. We hope that you will join us for this informative event.
Teachers in grades K-2 will be presenting from 6:00-6:45pm and teachers in grades 3-5 will present from 7:00-7:45pm. This is a great opportunity for you to learn what your child will be doing this year, and how you can best support him/her at home. Stop by the library steps from 6:45-7:00pm for a quick welcome back and hello from both me and our Booster president, Amy Hopper.
Please remember that this event is for parents only. We ask that you make arrangements for childcare, as no students will be permitted on campus during this event. Students will be invited to join us for Open House in the spring.
Please remember that there is no school on Friday, September 4th or Monday, September 7. Enjoy the long weekend. I’ve had a terrific first two weeks of school, and I’m sure your child can say the same. Have a great weekend, and I’ll see you all on Monday!
