Local School Leadership Council Committees

The LSLC Committee meetings are held once a the month on a Thursdays. LSLC Committees are the place where teachers, parents, staff and administrators convene to discuss day-to-day concerns of the school and develop policy proposals to be considered by the LSLC as a whole. Committees are the place where you can have a real impact on matters that directly affect your child and the school as a whole.

Committees effectively represent the interests of parents when parents attend the meetings. We urge you to join us.

BEHAVIOR/SOCIAL EMOTIONAL LEARNING (Room 3)

The Behavior/Social Emotional Learning Committee ensures the physical and emotional safety of all students in a variety of settings.

CURRICULUM/INSTRUCTIONAL LEADERSHIP (Room K1)

The Curriculum Committee oversees curricular recommended content and assists in the development of the professional development offerings. 

CAMPUS LIFE (Room 1)

The Campus Life Committee oversees projects intended to improve the school climate and morale, as well as the physical school campus and its grounds. 

SAFETY (Room 8)

The safety committee promotes safety throughout and around the campus and facilitates emergency preparedness activities.

DIGITAL LEARNING (Room 17)

The Digital Learning Committee discusses and shapes the digital learning curriculum and the acquisition and use of technology for students and teachers.

COMMUNITY SERVICE (Library)

The Community Service Committee develops projects that seek to foster an understanding and positive connection between Canyon students and the local and global community.
