About Canyon Booster Club

Canyon Booster Club, is a group of parents that are currently enrolled in the school. Canyon Booster is a registered non-profit under Section 501(c)(3) of the US Internal Revenue Code. Donations are tax-deductible (EIN: 95-3892191), and Booster is run entirely by unpaid volunteers who are committed to raising much-needed funds to support our Canyon students and staff.

The parents that participate in Booster organize school fundraising events like, Olympics Day, Movie Night, PartyBook, Fiesta and talent show to name a few. The fundraising helps pay for all the extras that are not covered by the district: art, music, drama, PE , field trips, instructional aides, reading specialists, and additional instructional aides. Booster is also responsible for all of teacher appreciation week, staff lunches, recruiting room parents and volunteers, traffic duty and not to mention Parent Education. The chairs of Booster Club act as a bridge between parents and administration. 

There is a warm and inclusive Canyon community of friends and families here to support you and your child and we hope you and yours will get involved with our team of volunteers who work tirelessly year-round to bring our community together in support of our Canyon students.

 What does Booster pay for?

Among other academic and enrichment support, we cover the areas below:   

• 60% of class instructional aides

• 100% of the P.E. program, instructor salary etc.

• 100% of Art & Music 

• 100% of Digital Learning Instructor

• 100% of Reading Specialist

• 100% of upper grade teacher to reduce class size

• 100% of office manager

The Booster Club Board is made up of five committed members of your community whose job it is to ensure that the funds will be raised to support the mission of the school charter, as well as fostering a sense of community among the parent body.
