Employer Matching

Many employers match the gifts their people give to schools like ours, dollar for dollar. Five minutes in your company portal can double what your child's classroom receives, at no extra cost to your family.

One important step before you give

Some employers only match donations that start inside their own giving platform, usually through HR or the company intranet, and they will not match a gift made outside it. A quick check first protects your match. If your company works that way, start your Canyon gift there and it will still count toward our Annual Giving goal.

Check your employer

Type your company name and we'll help you find its matching gift program.

We see matches most often from employers with offices here in Los Angeles, from the studios to aerospace, along with the big national companies. Tap a name below or search for yours.

How to submit your match

1. Check your portal first. If your employer requires gifts to start on its platform, begin your Canyon gift there.
2. Give to Canyon. If your employer matches after the fact, make your gift on our Annual Giving page.
3. Find us in the portal. Search for Canyon School Booster Club, EIN 95-3892191.
4. Submit the request with your gift amount and date.
5. That's it. Your employer sends the match straight to Canyon, and we'll confirm when it arrives.

Working for yourself? You're in good company

Plenty of Canyon families are self-employed or run their own businesses, and that spirit is part of what makes our community what it is. If there's no match to claim, please don't give it another thought. Your gift already does everything we hoped it would. And if your spouse or partner works for a larger company, it's worth five minutes to check their portal too.

Volunteer grants count too

Some employers also turn volunteer hours into dollars for our school. If you help in the classroom, at Olympics Day, or anywhere on campus, log those hours in your company's giving portal. It's the same five minutes, and it adds up for our Canyon kids.
