Nominations for the Local School Leadership Council close Tuesday, September 8 at 3:00 p.m.

Two Canyon parents have put their names forward so far, and there is room for more. To nominate yourself or another parent or guardian, email a short bio and a photo to Nicole.Sheard@lausd.net before the deadline. Voting opens Wednesday, September 9, and an email with instructions on how to cast your vote will follow. The Council decides on new programs and activities at Canyon, and parents hold seats on it.
