Local School Leadership Council Nominations Are Open Through September 8

The Local School Leadership Council is Canyon's governing body, and it is where decisions on budget, scheduling, equipment, discipline and staff development get made. Parent voices carry real weight in those conversations. This year one voting seat and two alternate seats are open, joining David Mehlman and Sarah Jonovic as they serve their second year on the Council. To nominate yourself or someone else, send a photo and a short bio of 300 words or less to Nicole Sheard at nicole.sheard@lausd.net by Tuesday, September 8.
